20 Things You May Not Know About Me

Writing this feels extremely vain to be honest, but I’m giving it a go since I so enjoy reading these lists by other Substackers. A bit about me, for the curious cats:
I attended boarding school on financial aid and sometimes felt like a fish out of water. The first week I asked a classmate about the silver charm bracelet everyone seemed to have. “Oh it’s from Tiffany’s,” she replied. “Who’s Tiffany?” I asked.
As a child I was bit on the face by a dog and still have a small tooth mark scar to prove it. Despite this, I’ve always been a dog person.
I dye my hair at home with a $30 box of dye. In 2024 I had a horrible allergic reaction to hair dye at the salon so I started looking for alternatives. The dye I use is free of PPD, PTD, ammonia, alcohol, and silicone. I have a decent amount of grey, but haven’t been brave enough to fully embrace it…yet.
