Who is Katie Amour Taylor?
Hi there! I’ve been curating my favorite finds and sharing design obsessions on my blog Katie Considers since 2009 (which, in blog years, makes me certifiably ancient).
I grew up in a small town full of cows and grapevines on the California coast. These days, I live in New York City with my English husband Simon, our six-year-old son Gabe, and a portly pug named Wilbur.
From 2010 to 2015, my friend Jane and I co-founded Matchbook Magazine, an online publication that celebrated timeless style with a playful twist. This Substack is my way of recapturing the same charm, reimagined for the woman I am today.
I hope A Tisket A Tasket becomes a space where we get to know each other better. Think of it as our little clubhouse for the curious and creative—I’ll bring the snacks.
